Collaborating for a cure

Research breakthroughs do not happen in silos – collaboration is critical to finding an ultimate cure for leukemia. In addition to supporting research through our grant program, the Leukemia Research Foundation collaborates with complementary research organizations that share our vision of a world without leukemia.

The Leukemia Research Foundation is collaborating with Cures Within Reach to fund a $75K Drug Repurposing Clinical Trial: Adding Metal Detoxification Drugs to Improve Childhood Acute Myeloid Leukemia Outcomes. The clinical trial will leverage the speed, safety, and cost-effectiveness of testing a therapy already approved by the FDA to deliver a new effective treatment to patients more quickly.
