19th Annual Kingfish Shootout Recap

The 19th Annual Kingfish Shootout was held on August 5-7 at C-Quarters Marina in Carrabelle, Florida. It welcomed 48 fishing teams and raised $65K for the Leukemia Research Foundation.

The event is put on by the Crowder family and C-Quarters Marina in memory of Lisa Crowder, who lost her battle with Leukemia in 2002. All profits are donated to the Leukemia Research Foundation, with more than $1.1M donated over the past 19 years. Thank you, Crowder family and C-Quarters Marina, for all your work and incredible efforts every year to make the event a success!

Ronald Hays stands with the smoker built by his company and donated as a raffle prize for the event. The Hays family has supported the event for the past 11 years, raising more than $225K.
