About the event

Lace Up for Leukemia and join more than a thousand people at Chicago’s lakefront to run, walk, and raise funds in search of a cure. The ABC 7 Gibbons Run consists of a chip-timed 5K run and a 3K walk, followed by a party with food, refreshments, music, and partner tents.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Leukemia Research Foundation, the nation’s largest nonprofit focused exclusively on funding leukemia research and supporting leukemia patients and their loved ones.

March 1 - April 15 $45 $20
April 16 - May 31 $50 $20
June 1 - registration close $59 $20

Virtual participants

Virtual registration $29 - only registrations prior June 1 will have their T-shirts mailed prior to the run/walk.

Individuals who are fundraising

Fundraisers registration $29. This special pricing is for registrants who commit to raising a minimum of $200.

Patients and survivors

Leukemia patients and survivors may participate free of charge. To do so, send an email to arleen@leukemiarf.org to receive a coupon code that can be applied during the online registration process.

Parking

There are two paid lots near the site, as well as limited street parking along Simonds Drive and Montrose Drive.
